Henry "Sam" Kroyer has
been in the bicycle industry for over 25 years. During this time his
knowledge and expertise has put him in a position of recognition in
the San Francisco Bay Area; Sam is known for the quality of work he
provides as well as his craftsmanship. He attended the Portland
School of the Arts in Maine earning a degree in Fine Art. Sam worked
for 12 years at Valencia Cyclery, an independently owned and operated
repair and sales provider for 26 years. In 2004, he received a frame
building certificate from United Bicycle Institute (UBI) in Ashland,
Oregon, the premiere institution for bicycle fabrication. 2005
brought him to the Bike Nut, a high-end boutique shop located in the
affluent Marina district. Sam was able to work with manufacturers,
professional cyclists and industry professionals increasing his
knowledge and reputation as a bicycle expert. |

Renita Taylor earned her degree in Theater
Administration from Pitzer College in Claremont, California. Starting
in 1984, she worked as a theater business and marketing professional
for 11 years in New York, Berkeley and San Francisco, at a variety of
small, mid-size and large organizations. She then transtitioned into
film where she worked for Industrial Light and Magic as a visual
effects CG artist, earning credits on such movies as Pirates of the
Caribbean 1, 2 and 3, Jurassic Park II, Star Wars: Episode III, War
of the Worlds, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull,
Star Trek and Rango. Yet, much like Sam, bicycles and cycling have
also been her passion. |
